The origin of books

Årets vakreste Bøker (The Most Beautiful Norwegian Books) is an annual competition honouring the visual and physical aspects of books. All Tomorrow’s – Bergqvist’s former studio – was responsible for the event’s visual identity for three consecutive years.

For the 2014 edition all the awarded books were studied in terms of the geographic origin of the paper, printer and typefaces used. The data was collected and presented to expose the current state of the book publishing industry in Norway. The catalogue was produced entirely using Norwegian components. Almost.
